Publisher Description

Being the first female werecat enforcer isn't easy. Scars accumulate, but I'm stronger in so many ways.... As for my personal life? It's complicated. Choices worth making always are. Ever since my brother's death and my father's impeachment, it's all I can do to prevent more blood from spilling. Now our Pride is under attack by a flight of vicious thunderbirds. And making peace with our new enemies may be the only way to get the best of our old foe. With the body count rising and treachery everywhere, my instincts tell me to look before I leap. But sometimes a leap of faith is the only real option.

"Another fantastic story from Rachel Vincent!! I am amazed each time I read one of her books, because each one gets better and better. This is a very violent series , and no one except the main character is safe from death. I love that personally. Too often these days paranormal's written for adults read like " teen / young adult" books .I love that this series is all for the grown ups. The violence is violent , the sex is HOT , and the characters are real ,and flawed . NO one is perfect here, and there is no happily ever after. Cant wait for the next one!!"

" After getting brief flashes, Faythe the leader is finally coming into her own. She's making the tough decisions and sticking to them without flip-flopping or waiting for Daddy to bail her out. Can't wait to get into the next book. "

" Still enjoying this series! Faythe has shown a lot of character growth and isn't as impulsive and reckless as she used to be. I still think she should be with Jace though, "

" Drama Drama Drama. In a good way though, for the most part. I got a little tired of Faythe not being able to make up her mind, but as a whole though still excellent. "

" Just fabulous! I love the way each book in the series picks up where the last one finished. There were times I wanted to scream at Faythe and I'm sure I'll feel the same when I start the last book of the series too!! "

" Another page turner! Im glad everything came out in the open and that she gets a choice in how it goes down.... not that it will be an easy choice. The thunderbirdz are kinda neat to read about and I think they will be the lifmoesavers in the next book. I can't wait to get started on the next! "
