"In the Air Tonight, the third in the series was by far the best. One stories plot was carried over from the second book making this book have two sub stories going on at once but both stories were entertwined leading to the major storyline. The reader gets a clearer picture of where Stephanie is taking the series and she does it with such finesse where you aren't left out in the dark wondering what the heck is going on. In my opinion, the series so far is not a stand alone yet Stephanie does give a brief synopses of what happened previously in each book (except the first) but not in great detail and the reader will be left wondering what you've missed and it will be a helluva lot yet you will be able to catch on but it would be not as terrific a read and you'll miss so much of the mystery/suspense and romance of the former characters. In the Air Tonight is riveting, gritty, filled with suspense and romance that will keep you absolute glued page after page. A fantastic series after everything falls into place and you understand who is who and where the major storyline is heading off into, an elite Shadow Force team."

" I think this is my all time favorite in the series, and I love all of them. Again, the main story is great, but finally getting to see what happened with Cael and Vivi as a subplot from Promises in the Dark had me reading and rereading this story. "

" Not crazy about this. It may have been too long since the last book for me. I spent too much of the book trying to remember what happened in the previous ones. I also didn't completely fall for the main H/h. Oh well. I'll still read the next one though. "
