Publisher Description

Fair O'Nelli is a normal girl, except for one small fact: she has spent the last nine years of her life living in a cellar with her loyal dog, studying the Scrolls of Truth by mysterious finger light, educated by her mother in the dark of night to avoid being discovered. She knows that her father and brother are missing, quite possibly, or dead. Fair is set free on the day she comes of age, when it's safe for her to be seen. Little does she know the gods are about to call her to bring a miracle to Cloven Grave.

In the company of three guardians, she encounters dangers and adventures as she follows the grassy path to find a stranger named Selador at an unknown place called Selador's Gate. Along the way, Fair discovers a deep, dark secret the parents of Cloven Grave, where the key to survival is learning to see things as they are, know nothing about.

"I must say, when i first started to read Secret Speakers, not my kind of read. But I always finish what I start and i must say I'm glad i did. The characters just came to life and the movie was playing in my head. I will be reading this a couple more times just to read it lol. It was a great pleasure to read such a imaginative story. Defiantly a story for my future kids. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get away to a magical world, even if its just for a couple of hours."

" First off, let me give a shout out to my friend Karey of congratulations on all your hard work and effort in writing and publishing this book. Good for you! I enjoyed looking at the religious symbolism throughout the book. Fair is such a like-able protagonist and I was cheering for her and Hale and all their friends along the way. I'm proud of you! "

" This book was good. I read it because my old BYU cross-country coach's wife wrote it, but it was really fun. It is allegorically Christian, sort of like C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I would recommend it. She is still in the editing phase so if you look it up on here, I think you can read it still for free and then review it. If you do it quick, she will send you a free signed copy of your own. "

" I would give this book a 3.5 star. It is a path of a girl on her road of life. It was interesting to see the "war in heaven" and the bloody sacrifice. Symbolic of the Bible. Not sure I wanted to read about those sacred things in this format. "

" The is a wonderful story of the hard life of a young girl. It is full of lots of life lessons and leaves you with an uplifted feeling. Short story. You can read it in a day. I recommend this book, especially to young readers. "

" This has a fun plot line, but it's more of a religious and Biblical book than real fiction. "

" What a lovely story. A book you can read with your children and still enjoy reading it yourself. A genre of books I normally don't gravitate towards but after reading this maybe I should give them another try. Thank you KS for your hard work and sharing that with us. "

" I absolutely loved this book. The characters were so engrossing and I loved the concept of good vs. evil, and how the good overcomes the evil :) I can't wait for a sequel to this book! "

" I was really looking forward to reading this book - got my library to order it and everything! But it was such a disappointment. I couldn't really understand the book or "get into it". I found myself skimming very quickly just to find some "meat" in the story - but couldn't. "

" I liked the overall story and found it to be a beautiful testimony of the authors's beliefs. The story seemed to jump around in places and was sometimes hard to follow, but overall I liked it. I would like to read more from this author. "

" I loved this fantasy. The characters live in my mind. I laughed with them and cried with them. Sometimes I held my breath to see what happened to them. The story has a positive message without being preachy. I am getting ready to read it again. "

" This is a nice fantasy. I would recommend it for any age. However, I had a hard time with the story line. The story it's self is based on something sacred and it was hard for me to see it used in fantasy. "
