Refusing to believe their scandalous stories about her late parents, Serenity set out to prove they were false...but getting the enigmatic Christophe to change his mind about her would prove an equally worthy challenge. " So, to get yourself a woman, hurt her, bruise her, force her, etc. and eventually she'll fall for you. I love Nora Roberts, but once again, not so thrilled with her early stuff. "

" This book contains three stories that are not related to each other. The first one was pretty good....the last two were so-so. Not really what I was expecting from NR here. Overall it was lack luster and dull. This does not mean I will give up on NR just that this one was disappointing. "

" Liked this way better than I expected to. Love JD Robb, but have only tried 1 or 2 NR. But this was full of the snappy dialog that is a big part of the JD Robb attraction, plus the main character is a dog trainer, and the male lead reminds me of Jack Reacher. Nuff said. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Shannon | 5/18/2011

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Eliza | 5/11/2011

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jen | 5/10/2011

" You can always count on Nora Roberts to give you a good (if predictable) romance with some suspense thron in, just to keep you interested.

I learned a few things that I passed on to my puppy which was a pleasant surprise. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Lyndsay | 5/4/2011

" Snooze fest. It strung you along for forever with very little payoff. the Protagonist love intrest is a wash. The serial killer not at all frightening and the stand off over in about a minute
needed some serious editing. Story line would have been better as a short story "
