" Sometimes you just want to kick back and escape into the comfortable world of chick lit and this is the perfect escape...i enjoy it....but I burn through them so quickly!!! "
-

" I thought it was a lovely story with great characters, Max and Lou made me laugh! The story between Tilly and Jack was kind of predictable, but it was nice they ended up together. The ending was kind of rushed, all of a sudden they are getting a ring and then it's over! But i enjoyed reading it and it kept me turning the pages :) "

" Tilly moves hoping to get away from men. Finds new friends, strengthens old friendships, and decides to take a chance on Jack. Is he what rumor says he is? Or is he the one. Great character in her boss. "

" This book is a light, easy read and definitely my idea of "chick lit". It was a page turner for me only because the stories are relatable and easy to get through. I picked this up after reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "The Girl Who Played with Fire" which were both more intense, so it was nice to give the brain a rest. Tilly is a likeable character as are most of the rest of the characters. I did get frustrated with some of the characters and some of their (lack of) actions, but possibly because they were written to react the way anyone would in real life. I tend to think that characters should be written to act in the ideal manner, but it's nice to read a book that's easy to identify with. I liked the book! "

" I was out of books and the cruise ship had a very limited supply to choose from so I bought this one... It turned out to be cute. Just an easy-to-read little story about a girl and a guy - but with a bunch of cute (and sometimes hard for American me to understand) British words and phrases. "
-

Tamara | 6/22/2012

" Amazing book from an amzing writer. I still don't understand the women behaviour with everyone claiming to have slept with Jack, but hey, I forgive it. "

" I have to say that I really liked this book. The reason I gave it three stars, I had wanted more of the main character and Jack. There were also some storylines that I didn't care for. But this was a very cute story and a light read.
I look forward to reading more titles.

" I was looking for a fast, very light read and this certainly fit the bill. However, I thought the relationships weren't developed well and it ended rather abruptly. Not my favorite "chicklit" book.

" The first Jill Mansell I read, this took me in as soon as I finished the first chapter. The characters are realistic, and I found myself relating to them on more than one occasion, and I just fell in love with it. A definite must-read for both old and new romance/chicklit readers.
