" Good book. It was an easy read. "

" Let me say that I was very intrigued by the premise of this story, but I wasn't really ready for the paranormal aspect and the tragedies that continued to fall on these survivors. I guess I could understand how everything came to the right resolution, but I really wanted a real story about school shooting survivors, not one revolving around ghosts, spirits and the paranormal. Don't get me wrong, I like paranormal stories, but not in this instance. But the story was well told, for what it was. "

" Nice read! Surprising actually. Reminds me of a Scott Nicholson book Very creepy in spots. Likeable characters. Can't help think of Columbine when reading this book. Will be reading more from this author. "

" A great book, but I just couldn't finish it on light of what happened in CT "

" Great story especially for those of us following the Columbine High School shootings in Colorado and the rash of shottings that followed. Interesting to see what the future could hold. "

" I was reading this at the same time that the incident in Newton, CT happened. It gave me chills to know that there are some among us who carry so much pain and anguish and who feel the need to take things out not only on themselves but on other as well. That aside, I enjoyed the book very much. "

" This book was not really what I expected. The plot sounded interesting, however the story was told in an unbelievable fashion. If you are expecting a campfire ghost story, then this book is for you. If you are craving a good psychological/supernatural thriller, it's probably not worth your time. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Liz Conklin | 2/13/2013

" This was a fast read, but I found the writing to be stilted and the ending was very predictable and sappy. I found the author's treatment of the presence of evil to be thought - provoking, though, especially in light of recent events. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Gwen | 11/8/2012

" This was okay enough to finish, but it wasn't very captivating and it was extremely easy to put down for long periods of time. It also turned unexpectedly christian toward the end. "
