By exhortation, witness and counsel Fr. Richard Fragomeni invites his listeners to believe that the risen Christ lives in our midst by the power of the Holy Spirit. Resurrection faith is more than an assent to an idea. It is living in the presence of the risen Christ. Fragomeni bases his meditation on a sermon by St. John Chrysostom. Ours is a mystical religion - an experience of Christ within our hearts. All that matters is that we live in the presence of Christ. Many look at Jesus as some historical figure - as a good example. That's not enough. Fragomeni assures us that Christ is among us and within us in power. He urges us to know the Living Presence in our flesh and bones. Our destiny is to live and move in Christ and through Christ to the glory of God forever in Resurrection faith.
