"i think this is the best of all three novels in the trilogy. I think it is because after reading sooo much and waiting for the result, i finally get to read the ending which is very good news to me. "

" The books pulls in way too many characters, especially compared to the first. And the story changed quite a bit from the beginning, did not expect some of the plots. Some of it was a little disturbing, can see why they never made any more movies. "

" I liked the Golden Compass a lot, so I was very disappointed in the way the series ended. If you are an atheist parent maybe this is a book that you would enjoy sharing with your child. It was too depressing for someone who believes that there is something out there greater than herself. "
