" There was something very captivating about this story. I can't say what, exactly, just a combination of things I guess, but I couldn't put it down and I want to read more from the series! "

" This was my favorite book out of the Raintree trilogy because it seemed the most complete...I liked Inferno also but it didn't delve enough into the Dante/Lorna love story as I would've liked. I really liked how gutsy/tough Hope was and how sweet Gideon was...loved how 'real' both Dante and Gideon were despite the paranormal stuff thrown in. "

" Well, what can I say. Cool characters and at first I was a bit hooked. But nearing the end it becomes quite boring and predictable. Plus the ending is annoying. Oh yeah yeah yeah, to be continued with another book and all that. But still. "

" Yay! Really great! Not what I was expecting at all, and with a different author the tone was completely different. This one wasn't as funny or as squeeful as the Linda Howard one, but it had familiar things in it which made it really great. Nonstop action throughout the entire book. Loved it! "

" This is the second part of the Raintree Trilogy. I read this in one day as well. Lots of suspence, paranormal activities and good sex. It was fun but not a learning experience. "

" A good book, but not as good as the first one in the trilogy. It got extra points for setting the story in Wilmington, NC. (More urban fantasy stories need to be set in NC.) I did like the two main characters, but the plot didn't move fast enough for me. "

" My favorite of the trilogy. Gideon Raintree is a cop who can communicate with ghosts, which gives him an amazing solve rate for homicides. His new partner, Hope, isn't sure what to make of him. After murder comes close to his family, they are on the case. And then there are the visions of Emma. "

" Even though I liked Dante, I think that Gideon is my favorite of the three siblings. I like how Dante has dominion over fire, but Gideon gets electricity, which is cool how the author incorporates it into the book. "

Spells, paranormal happenings, wizards just aren't my thing. "
