About the Authors
Charles Beaumont (1929–1967) was a prolific American writer of speculative fiction, including the signature collection Night Ride, and Other Journeys, also available from Blackstone and Skyboat. His stories provided the source material for over twenty classic Twilight Zone episodes.
Jerry Sohl (1913-2002) was one of the most successful science fiction, fantasy, and mystery writers of his time. A prolific author of novels and films, he is perhaps best-known for his teleplays for The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, The Outer Limits, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
