" Great book for investigating ways to train your mind to be more positive and confident. I found it especially useful after my Great Depression (worse than the one in the late 20's early 30's!). It's a very practical read but in no way boring if you're interested in improving your focus, mental acuity, and overall mental outlook on life. "

" Fantastic book from a plastic surgeon who noticed patterns in changed behavior, and linked results to self-esteem. Amazing how much we control our own destiny by our own perceptions of ourselves and others! "

" The case studies and examples are very dated. It sometimes reads like a script from Mad Men. The philosophy is strong and was very relevant to me. I was able to put this book to use in my day-to-day life. It could really use an update. Does anyone know of one? I may do it myself. "

" The author is explaining the main point " People are the way they are because of how they look" The details and the cases explained in the book are surprising. "
