Publisher Description

Massie Block: When the Pretty Committee deems its boy-fast null and void, boy fever sweeps through BOCD. What better way to back-handspring into new crush Dempsey's heart - and make old crush Derrington jealous - than to cheer for him on the soccer field? And just like that, Massie forms BOCD's first-ever cheerleading squad. But will Massie still have something to cheer about when Dempsey starts spending a lot of time with LBR Layne Abeley? Give me an E for ehmagawd!

Kristen Gregory: With Massie and her SBFF (secret best friend forever) Layne vying for the same boy, Kristen has to make a choice: (A) the Pretty Committee, or (B) the Witty Committee. And if she doesn't choose fast, she'll end up (C) - committeeless.

Dylan Marvil: Is hiding something, and it's not just those peanut butter Luna bars stashed under her mattress. She's got a secret crush on Derrington - and it's no secret that he likes burpilicious redheads....

Alicia Rivera: Prefers pliés to pom-poms, especially when Massie orders her to the bottom of the cheer-pyramid. Can Alicia accept her beta status, or is it time to become alpha of her own squad?

Claire Lyons: Now that she's back with Cam, Claire finally has her love life in order. But her friends are trading crushes like styling tips. Will the Pretty Committee survive the boy-swap intact, or is the Clique about to come apart at the seams?

"Oh my gosh, so far I think Claire getting back with Cam was good for Massie because she doesn't have to hear her whine about him. Plus, how come Dylan likes Derrington but Massie 'called' him to herself? I think Massie and ALL of the pretty Committee should be involved in Massie's cheerleader thing. But, Alicia should be the leader because she's the best acrobat on the BOCD's team! 1-2-3-4 who are we? "PRETTY COMMITTEE!"

" ***spoilers***I can't believe Kristen's between 2 boys...they are both great guys. I also can't believe the ending! They like...left Massie! The only thing I would change is to put more kissing in. I mean they talk about "lip-kissing" so much and Dyan and Derrick only did it once but it was a nothing little peck. Otherwise I <3ed this book :) "

" Hah, shows how backstabbing really works. Shows us the lives of 5 mid-teenager who act old for their tender ages of 12 and 13, I like this series back then, but now I came to the realization that the story is shallow and potentially (view spoiler)[ slutty (hide spoiler)] "

" I am losing interest in this series. I am not sure why. Maybe because the girls are so shallow and vain and it gets on my nerves. I like that the girls finally stood up for themselves and that Massie KINDA got the hint. "

" Also one of the best, the Clique declares the boyfast over. Kristen has to decide between Massie and Layne. Alicia is still beta and very unhappy about it. Massie is starting a cheerleading squad for the soccer team. Dylan is crushing on Massie's old crush. Claire's bf is hiding something. "
