Benevolence is not your typical princess and Princess Ben is certainly not your typical fairy tale. With her parents lost to unknown assassins, Princess Ben ends up under the thumb of the conniving Queen Sophia, who is intent on marrying her off to the first available specimen of imbecilic manhood.

Starved and miserable, locked in the castle's highest tower, Ben stumbles upon a mysterious enchanted room. So begins her secret education in the magical arts: mastering an obstinate flying broomstick, furtively emptying the castle pantries, setting her hair on fire.

But Ben's private adventures are soon overwhelmed by a mortal threat facing the castle and indeed the entire country. Can Princess Ben save her kingdom from annihilation and herself from permanent enslavement?

Princess Ben is adventurous, romantic, entertaining and most of all, a humorous story about growing up that anyone of any age will not help but love. Download and start listening now!

" At first I didn't like Princess Ben, but i believe that was the way it should be..cause eventually i started to like her fearlessness. Strong woman are awesome! "

" I really enjoyed this book. I think I learned the importance of not being so quick to judge others until you know a little bit more about them. This was the case throghout the book. Ben was quick to judge the prince from the country's biggest foes. Also, miscommunication often brings about more problems than are needed. "

" This is a fun read--it's nice to know that not all princesses are skinny. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Michelle Parker | 1/16/2014

" I didn't like this book. It seemed to be written for a teen but with a few hard words thrown in to make it confusing. The prince and she only meet 2 times and all you hear of each other are complaints and then suddenly on the third meeting their in love and going to get married. It was a quick easy read but definately for a younger teen. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Susan | 1/27/2013

" Well written, etc but - since this is supposed to be my reaction - I'm tired of women having to out do men and be better at everything. It took a long time to find this was supposed to be sleeping beauty. "

" It was so unperdictable, I loved it! I was spectical of the cover, but it was very cute, witty and not just for teenagers. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Jenny | 2/24/2012

" Two stars may be a bit harsh. I just felt like I struggled through it. The main character wasn't very likable and the ending was a bit trite. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Dannielle R | 12/25/2011

" This was rather an amazing story. The only thing I didn't like was how she managed to sneek in aspects from other fairy tales. It was unoriginal. I wish there was more romance at the end, but that's okay. The book as a whole was great. Go ahead and read for some adventure. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Kelly | 8/7/2011

" It's written as if the girl written about is writing, which is what the writer intended but gives an unfinished and unpolished feel to the book. However, it has an authentic feel for a fantasy story.
