Dale woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning - alone and frustrated. Forced to take matters into his own hands, so to speak, he then finds his lover, Grant, in the kitchen up to his elbows in heart shaped cookies; positive reinforcement for his hard working students. Outraged, Dale ridicules Grant for the extra care and attention he gives to his students. He explains that in the real world no one ever has anything handed to them; citing himself as an example. Throughout the day however Dale realizes how wrong he was, noticing for the first time how much Grant does for him every day. Can Dale salvage their relationship with a little positive reinforcement from him for a change? Or will it be too little too late? and what's with all the hearts and flowers everywhere, anyway?
