"Hi I’m a fifth grader in a Wisconsin school and I listened to the audiobook “Poppy”. I think John McDonough’s voice is rich, and is the perfect voice for narration of an audiobook. He also is expressive in his voice, and that’s what makes it good. I also love the story of Poppy. Poppy is a mouse who has her boyfriend killed by Mr.Ocax, because she and her boyfriend didn’t ask for permission to go to bannock hill. Later on at their home, there insn’t enough food to feed all of the mice, so Poppy, and Lungwort go to ask Mr.Ocax if half of the mice could move to a new place. He denies the request and says it’s because Poppy didn’t ask permission to go to bannock hill. But Poppy thinks there is something at the new place that Mr.Ocax doesn’t want them to see. So Poppy sets foot to go there and see what she can find."
