The seventh book in the Jack Reacher series finds us following Reacher on his ultimate revenge quest, a journey to settle a decades-long score. Jack is an enigma: ex-military, loner, not one much for people, but with his own set of morals and choosings as fluctuous as any kingpin. As Reacher saves a boy from kidnapping, one must wonder: is all really what it seems? Is Jack really the good guy? What of the boy's father? As the book winds on, more questions arise, both in regards to the boy and in regards to Jack Reacher's true motives. By the end, this daring and suspenseful thrill ride will have you asking all the questions.

Lee Child, penname for British thriller writer Jim Grant, is best known for writing the Killing Floor series, a series of books about an ex-military policeman named Jack Reacher. Before that, he worked as a presentation director for the UK's ITV network. He also wrote a fair number of commercials, trailers, and news stories. Child has also penned a collection of short stories and other prose works both under his name and a variety of pennames. He lives in England with his wife and son.

Jack Reacher.

The ultimate loner.

An elite ex-military cop who left the service years ago, he's moved from place to place...without family...without possessions...without commitments.

And without fear. Which is good, because trouble - big, violent, complicated trouble - finds Reacher wherever he goes. And when trouble finds him, Reacher does not quit, not once...not ever.

But some unfinished business has now found Reacher. And Reacher is a man who hates unfinished business.

Ten years ago, a key investigation went sour and someone got away with murder. Now a chance encounter brings it all back. Now Reacher sees his one last shot. Some would call it vengeance. Some would call it redemption. Reacher would call it...justice. Download and start listening now!

" as with 61 hours, another riveting read. although a continuing series it is also a complete story in its own right. "

" This is the first Reacher book since the very first book in the series that is told in the first person. There are few changes that make this book stand out from the rest but mostly they are superficial. The main baddie in this book is someone from Reacher's past, and the first one he hated going into. Most books he grows to the realization that he is going to kill the bad guy, but here he starts out from that point of view. One thing I really liked about the book is it had that isolation feel that my favorite book in the series had, Die Trying. Mostly set on a deserted coast of Maine. The book has trippy begining that will leave Reacher fans wondering what the hell is going on. But this is still a great action packed book for fans of action movies. It does stand out from the series as a whole, but not signifigantly. "
