Let me set the record straight. My name is Charlotte Silver and I'm not one of those paranormal-obsessed freaks you see on TV... no, those would be my parents, who have their own ghost-hunting reality show. And while I'm usually roped into the behind-the-scenes work, it turns out that I haven't gone unnoticed. Something happened on my parents' research trip in Charleston - and now I'm being stalked by some truly frightening other beings. Trying to fit into a new school and keeping my parents' creepy occupation a secret from my friends -and potential boyfriends - is hard enough without having angry spirits whispering in my ear. All I ever wanted was to be normal, but with ghosts of my past and present colliding, now I just want to make it out of high school alive?

" I was going through the library book shelves looking for a certain author when I came across this book. What caught my interest was its title and the cover image. When I looked at the title Past Midnight and the cover image, what I guessed was that it was a supernatural story and I turned out to be right. After I read the blurb, I wanted to read the book even more because the parents of the main character were some kind of ghost-busters and the main character had to deal with ghosts that had follow her everywhere. It was so weird to have parents like that and I was wondering how the main character handled her daily life with parents like hers. After reading the book, I liked the stories very much because it was not as scary as those other ghost stories. I personally didn't like to read ghost stories, but I had made a exception for this because it was a ghost story that was placed in the middle of a teenager's life. So parts of the story was realistic while the parts about the ghosts were fictional. I couldn't really relate to this book because it was about ghosts. But one thing I learned from this book was that forgiveness had its own shade of color. Forgiveness was very unique in its very own way, that is why its color was purple. I didn't know if this was true, but I had a feeling that this might be true. I would like to recommend this book to as many people as possible because I wanted people to know that forgiveness was very important and that people should always forgave others so their hearts could be free of hatred and grudges. So I hoped a lot of people would read this book and learned to forgive. "

" A nice clean ghost story.I initially read it because it was a prequil to one that I downloaded for free on my NOOK. I enjoyed it. It is a ghost buster type story. Charlotte's parents try and find scientific answers to all paranormal activities. They come upon something that they can not explain away. The characters develop over time. Charlotte discovers a happy ground for herself confidence in the end. "
