Publisher Description

Me? A leader? Okay, I did prove that there's more to Inside than we knew. That a whole world exists beyond this cube we live in. And finding that led to a major rebellion - between worker scrubs like me and the snobby uppers who rule our world. Make that ruled. Because of me, we're free. I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again - while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. But then we learned that there's outside and then there is Outside. And something from Outside wants IN.

"First thing: I really like how Snyder uses an introductory chapter to sum up what happened in the first book. I have always wondered why more authors of sequels don't do this instead of trying to insert little catch-up tidbits throughout the book. This is much less annoying and more efficient, in my opinion. Second thing: I liked this better than the first book. I liked the tension as Trella learns to accept responsibility and how to be a good leader and team player. I liked the setting of a cube travelling through space (with the inhabitants unaware of the whys and hows). The third thing is less flattering: much of this felt rushed, a little unclear, and a bit convoluted. The ending was especially swift: with so much unresolved and not so many pages left in the book, I assumed this was to be book 2 of a trilogy; but then, presto, everything rushes to a conclusion and the strings get tied up neatly."

" It was...just okay. Quite tedious for the first 175 pages or so (just like the first book). I enjoyed the second half of the book. I'm guessing there will be a third book? If so, I will just ask for spoilers to tell me what happens. I guess I'm just not a fan of this author's writing style. "

" This book took a little longer to get into compared to the first one. It really picked up towards the middle and I couldn't put it down. This was a great series. "

" i desperately, desperately wanted to like this book. I really did. Unfortunately, all of Trella's independent spunk from the previous book completely vanished. In this one, she's whiny and doesn't want anything to do with anybody. She refuses to take responsibility for the sh!t SHE started, and is constantly making ridiculously obvious mistakes. The only character who's personality sticks true to the previous book is Logan, and I can't help but feel that if the POV had been from him the story would have been MUCH more interesting. We certainly would have gotten a lot more answers from him, anyways. Trella's "devil may care" attitude gets old. Apparently, the only time when she cares about anybody but herself is when she's going against the authority. So many problems could have been avoided if she had just owned up to her responsibility, and the fact that she's not happy unless she's rebelling bothered me. Maybe I'm just too old to appreciate her attitude. "

" A great sequel with a clever story and an overwhelmed but a little bit emotionless heroin. Some quesitons are not fully developped. I don't know if there will be a sequel but I hope there will be, I want to see more Sheepy! "

" Is Ms.Snyder planning to release the 3rd book? If not, she should! I think the author finished this book in a hurry or something. There were like millions of possibilities to make it more interesting. So thats why I want a trilogy. Besides, there are still some unanswered questions about Inside... "
