Can anything really change in 24 hours? Can everything? Maggie Doyle has one night to raise fifteen thousand dollars, or it's bye-bye home and business, the only good things she has left. Her only option? Find the stepbrother she hasn't spoken to in years - the one who ruined her life to begin with - and hope against hope he'll cough up the cash.

Jack Major's got his life all mapped out. He's rich, powerful, and about to marry Boston's most successful attorney. So why can't he forget Maggie - the girl who walked out of his life ten years ago, and refused to tell him what he'd done wrong?

When Maggie's search for her stepbrother leads her to the Deveaux Ball, a high-profile charity event in Boston, she runs into Jack and the sparks fly. But is it too late for a first love to re-ignite? And if she reveals her secret, will Jack leave her for good? One night in Boston is all they have to find true love, or lose everything.

"I picked this book up as a free ebook from AllRomanceeBooks. Since it was free I wasn't expecting a lot, but I have to say that I really enjoyed the book. The main character did get on my nerves at times, but it was still a good book."

" It had it's good points. It kind of was agonizing getting to the point where they recognized each other. "

" I did enjoy this book - as a matter of fact I lost a little sleep last night because I had reached the part of the story I found hard to put down. There were a number of events and people in this young women's life to keep the interest, wondering how things would change in the following pages. "

" I love romances about reuniting with "the one who got away." Pretty light reading, but lots of character development. For such a short book, I actually fell in love with the main characters. Nice, quick enjoyable read. "

" Surprisingly liked this one. Wasn't what I expected when I opened it up, but enjoyable in the end. Almost didn't feel like there was enough of the book. I would have liked it to be a bit longer and better fleshed out. "

" As a resident of metro Boston, I did not appreciate how, at one point, our heroine is stuck in a traffic jam at the Boylston T Stop, and more than one hour later was not only still in the city but also on local roads instead of 93 South (as she was heading towards RI). A quick and easy read. "

" I give this something between 3 and 4 stars. I enjoyed the story but the weird style and flash backs turned me off. Plus I wanted to slap the heroine many times but I guess for the story to work she had to be an idiot. "

" Maggie is about to lose her home and her business. She decides to go to Boston to find her long lost step-brother and ask him for a loan. While there she re-unites with Jack, but his agency is trying to buy out her house and business to build a new company extension. Lots of drama ensues. "
