"this is inspiring. kyle maynard, a boy with nubs for arms and legs learing how to battle through the obstacles of life, being different he challenges himself to go farther and does not give excuses. he is a football player then a wrestler whos No Excuses mind set puts him face to face with glory. i could not put this book down and strongly suggest this book to all sport players who think they have it hard"

" This was a very inspirational book. As a former wrestler, I can understand and relate to a lot of things he talks about. I must admit, I'm nowhere near as dedicated as Kyle Maynard is. There were only a few slow spots, but all in all it was a great read. The last page nearly brought me to tears. Just sayin. "

" A boxing friend recommended this book. It is a good story about working hard to overcome physical disabilities. I thought it was good, but the author repeated a lot of stuff. "

" I really liked the content of this book and the spirit of this kid and his family. The only reason that I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because at times I felt it could have been better written. Other than that it was great! "

" Kyle's spirit is most definitely inspiring. The love of his parents is also a strong theme that helps to point to his tenacity and success. Felt a disconnect between his personal struggle and larger oppressive regimes. Inspiring none the less. Easy read. "
