Publisher Description

On a beach at dusk, while Bud Mitchell and Jill Winslow conduct their illicit love affair in front of a video camera set to record each steamy moment, a terrible explosion suddenly lights up the sky. Grabbing the camera, the couple make their getaway, as approaching police cars speed toward the scene.

Five years later, the fate of TWA Flight 800 has been attributed to a mechanical malfunction. But for John Corey and his wife Kate Mayfield, both members of the elite Anti-Terrorist Task Force, the case is not closed. Suspicious of a cover-up, they set out to find the one piece of evidence that will prove their theory-that at least two other people are determined to keep hidden: a videotape of the unbelievable truth.

"Fun read with a shocking ending. I would definitely read more novels by this author. I read this having never heard of Mr. DeMille, and picking it up after a Dan Brown novel, I wasn't sure how I would feel about it. I went through it in two days. And I did not guess the end as I usually do. So that's a definitely plus. If you like fast paced novels, this one's for you."

" Excellent thriller on a theory about the cause of TWA Flight 800's crash into the ocean off Long Island on July 17, 1996. I couldn't stop reading all the 'fact based evidence' presented. Shocking yet thought-provoking ending; could it have some truth to it??? "

" I love the ease of reading this book. You are immediately captured by the storyline. It reads like a tv detective show, so it is fast reading, realistic characters. Some four letter words may offend some. It is my first Demille novel. I will read his others . Great fun to read. Surprise ending. "

" A chilling look at Flight 800 which exploded over Long Island Sound in 1996. Part non-fiction and part fiction, the author leaves it up to the reader to make a judgment call on this one. Land to air missile? or engine malfunction? "

" First 2/3 of book is not very exciting. There is no villain until Nash comes back from the dead. Then there is a lot of planning all for nothing because 9/11 blows up everyone at the big meeting. Kinda clever how we know that that is going to be apart of the book, but kinda a wimp out for closure. "
