" A fun read that I finished in three days. Enjoyable from beginning to end. "
-

Deb | 2/7/2014
" Pru loses her job, her boyfriend, and maybe her chance of ever marrying and having a family. Her unmarried sister, along with her 2 year old daughter move in, her gay friends rally round, and she befriends the owner of the local coffee shop. An OK read but not very memorable. "

" Your basic chicklit...but without most of the things that irritate me about chicklit. I liked most of the characters in the book, and it was a fun vacation read. "
-

Tressa | 1/29/2014
" In Nice to Come Home To, Pru has a plan, but it fell apart. I liked how she adapted, learned how to be more flexible with her life, and discovered new choices and opportunities. The narration was enjoyable. "
-

Cindy | 1/27/2014
" Hmm not your average chick lit. It was pleasant surprise with charachters that had depth and emotions that seemed real. Not to heavy not to light just right. "
-

Betty Benjamin | 1/22/2014
" OK book, not my favorite, but it was engaging enough! "
-

Elena | 1/20/2014
" Good quick PG summer romance read. "
-

Joanne | 1/15/2014
" I usually really enjoy reading books set in places that I know. So, the DC factor really appealed to me. This book was just ok. I didn't really find myself caring much about the characters like I thought I would. "
-

" cute book with great descriptions of life in Washington DC for non-politicians "
-

Annevthompson | 12/28/2013
" A pleasant read with good writing and likable, realistic characters. "
-

Phancy | 12/24/2013
" If you're looking for a more realistic heroine, you'll like this book. I really liked the more realistic life approach this book took; I just didn't love the storyline. Too much whining ... not enough fixing. "
-

Lynn | 12/13/2013
" A great read from beginning to end. "
-

Dena | 11/17/2013
" This seemed like it was going to be a great book but it just dragged for me. I skimmed the last half of it just to find out how it ended and it never picked up. "
-

Tif | 9/21/2013
" Very engaging characters. Fun story. I liked it a lot. "
-

Tiffany | 6/22/2013
" Cute, quick read . . . lots of flawed people who you still want the best for in the end. "
-

Janice | 5/7/2013
" This was a nice, fun, easy read. It had a similar feel to "Love Walked In" by Marisa de los Santos. "
-

Marci | 4/7/2013
" Decently story with believable characters. Enjoyed that they all struggle with life and manage to go on and make choices with a conscience. (Disclaimer- frequent use of the F word.) "
-

Debbie | 2/12/2013
" An easy, funny read about a young, single woman figuring out who she is in the context of a break up, a job loss, and some family drama. I enjoyed the setting -- Adams Morgan, Washington, DC -- and the pivotal role that the Kozy Korner, a diner I lived right next to for 4 years, plays in the plot... "

" I got this book because someone on Amazon praised this and Belong to Me in the same sentence. It was an interesting read - a follow your heart kind of chick lit novel - but it wasn't amazing. Maybe I was expecting too much. "
-

Ann | 10/11/2012
" A nicely done chick-lit book. "
-

Britt | 10/10/2012
" I needed to read something "light". This fit the bill. "
-

Danielle Fawley | 6/20/2012
" This book I believe a lot of girls can relate to at any age. It was pretty good for being a dollar store purchase. It was a little slow at first but then I found myself not wanting to put it down. "
-

Marisa | 12/4/2011
" I thought this book was ok. I hate reading all the way through a book and then feel like the author was tired of writing it so they just wrapped it up in the last five pages. That is how I felt when I read this book. It isn't something I would read again. "
-

Shannon | 5/17/2011
" Great book. I found myself picking famous actors to play the characters in it. It could be a movie, or a whole TV series! The whole cast of characters are so real. I'll definitely be looking at this author's other novels.
"

Heather | 4/6/2011
" I really liked this book. It was nice to have an unconventional love story that was fun but not cheesy.
"

Jeanette | 1/8/2011
" This book started slow and rather boring, but as I read I started relating to Pru and the stuff that was going on in her life. When I finished this book last night I was crying.
"
-

Sherrill | 12/23/2010
" What is it about reality that can be so depressing.
I stayed with this book, even though it was not all true love and fairy tales from the beginning.
The ending gave me a bit of hope that romance is still alive.
"
-

Tracy | 8/31/2010
" I loved this book.
What a wonderful, contemporary book about a thirty-something girl that was realistic and intriguing. I liked the character and was genuinely interested to see how her life would pan out.
Hope to see more from this author soon!
"
-

Debbie | 8/20/2010
" Enjoyed the book. I thought it started out rather slowly; it was hard for me to stay interested in the character for the first few chapters, but eventually she became more complex and the plot kept me wanting more.
"
-

Betty | 8/19/2010
" This was an interesting read--- I really like the main character, she had depth, dimension and the story is explores a point many of us hit in our lives where we may feel adrift and need to find things to ground us again.
"
-

Slone | 8/14/2010
" Kind of long and drawn-out ... and the main character is kind of annoying.
"
-

Janice | 7/17/2010
" Not worth the $12.99 Kindle charge.
"
-

Jessica | 7/14/2010
" I love Sense and Sensibility, and this story uses that same framework and plot. Read it and have fun figuring our who is whom.
A nice, light, easy, fun read, with the ending you really want for these characters--and the ending you wanted in the original.
