" Reading Alan's book made me proud to be a nerd girl!! It made me laugh out loud, yet was very touching and realistic. I could relate to the characters and their rivalry with the ThreePeas. If I taught in the middle grades, this book would definitely be a part of my classroom library! Highly recommend! "

" A cute, breezy story about 3 nerdy girls trying to overthrow the nasty, popular girls in middle school. Bizarre and hilarious episodes, but the characters are too exaggerated to be believable. Everything about this book is one giant exclamation point, and that gets tiresome after a while. "

" A bit easy for 7/8--a better fit for some 6th graders, but a great story about friendship, acceptance, and empathy. "

" Fun, enjoyabe and a little extreme. These girls are SUPER nerdy. If you think you are a nerd before reading this book, you will soon realize that maybe it's not that bad... This was a good book, and the ending was just GREAT! "

" This book was really long and draggy. I kept losing interest every other chapter. The ending wasn't the best ever, either. "

" Most middle school students I know will be rolling their eyes at this one. The characters are way beyond believable to the point of NOT being funny but just being dumb. Sorry but this one won't cut it with my crowd. "
