Publisher Description

“Napoleon Hill was one of America’s great, influential thinkers who continues to have an enormous impact today.” —Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine

Bestselling author Napoleon Hill reveals the seven principles of good that allow us to triumph over obstacles…and find success.

Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

"This book blew my mind - I am so glad it was finally published, even if it took decades to get it out there! The dialogue between Hill and "The Devil" is a brilliant way to propose ideas of what it is that holds us humans back, and sabotages our ability to succeed. A must read for everyone!"

" I keep trying to enjoy Napoleon Hill books but there is just something about how he says things that make me put them down. I definitely agree with a lot of what he says but I don't really love the way he writes or his exact perspectives. This book was even more odd. It seemed like a very cool concept and I loved Screwtape Letters so I thought I would like this one. While some of it was interesting and thought provoking, it seemed to go around in circles. The question and answer format got a little long and dry. I also didn't enjoy the cheesy dialogue boxes added in by others. Personally, I think I enjoyed Screwtape Letters more because C.S. Lewis had a very strong religious foundation whereas Hill doesn't seem to have a solid spiritual background. Therefore, a chat with the "devil" didn't hold much weight for me coming from him. "
