Publisher Description

Trying to work things out with Nash, her maybe boyfriend, is hard enough for Kaylee Cavanaugh. She can't just pretend nothing happened. But complicated doesn't even begin to describe their relationship when his ex-girlfriend transfers to their school, determined to take Nash back.

See, Sabine isn't just an ordinary girl. She's a mara, the living personification of a nightmare. She can read people's fears - and craft them into nightmares while her victims sleep. Feeding from human fear is how she survives.

And Sabine isn't above scaring Kaylee and the entire school to death to get whatever - and whoever - she wants.

"GO KAYLEE! I loved this book as well. Like I said, the series just keeps getting better and better. I liked this one because more stuff happened and we get to know the characters so much more. A lot of revelations knocked me back full force, some pretty intriguing schemes, character growth from Kaylee, Nash and Tod. This book was a whole lot of good. I devoured it all in one sitting and I couldn't stop reading even when I had to do normal human things. Haha! But seriously..this book made me want tobecome a bean sidhe..although i'm not too sure about the wailing."

" This book is probably my least favourite out of the entire series. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to do something violent after reading many, many scenes that caused me so much frustration. I loved Tod - he's probably the only character I really loved, including Alec and Aiden - but Sabine, Nash, and Kaylee herself really got on my nerves. Kaylee seemed handicapped at the Stand-Up-For-Yourself Department, and Nash was a jerk thrice over. He couldn't make a good decision about anything, and I hate how he kept guilt-tripping Kaylee with Sabine. Yes, I understand that Kaylee kept telling him that she couldn't exactly trust him, or be with him, or anything like that, because of the fact that he freaking Influenced her, lied to her, and manipulated her into exposing herself - literally, - but he hardly had a right to tell her that he didn't know what to do to pay her back for doing all of it. If it were me, I'd probably tell him that I couldn't be with someone who can't understand the type of person I am and dump him altogether, and maybe have a go at Sabine as well. But no, Kaylee wanted Nash all to herself - despite the fact that he hurt her - and went along taking Sabine away from him. And there was no point in doing that, because of what would happen in the next book. All of that pointless drama. The characters in these novels are really annoying. "

" As with all of the soul Screamers series and in fact all of Rachel Vincent's books that I have read, My Soul to Steal is a fantastic read. It captured me heart and soul. I've already bought the next book in the series and can't wait to dive in! "

" Kaylee meets Sabine, a mara who gives people nightmares about their worst fears. There was lots of jealousy in this book. Kaylee struggled with her feelings for Nash. Avari did a lot of chaos for Kaylee, her family and her friends. "

" OH MY TOD. (LOL I'M BEING PUNNY) This book WAS SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO good. It actually gives me hope that Tod will get Kaylee, because let's face it. Nash and Kaylee aren't working anymore, and Tod is definitely Kay's Mr. Right. I'll put up a more substantial review after I finish the next two books. "

" I finished and have started the next one. These books are addicting. I wish I didn't have to go to work or I would be done with the 4 books in the series so far. I love the writing. I feel bad for Nash, but I want Kaylee and Tod to have a relationship. "

" Love the characters. Maybe I just like the name Nash, but the plot is new. Kaylee is a banshee and discovers this when the hottest boy at school takes interest in her. That is the jest of the first few pages. "

" The main character being, basically, a 'banshee' was an interesting change from the normal paranormal YA books out there. Didn't exactly grab me from the start, but was still interesting enough to finish. Will continue the series sometime. :) "
