"This was so great! I ended up listening to the BBC radio audiobook while I drove to and from work. DAVID TENNANT FOR THE WIN!! I was immediately sold...the dramatized version made it come alive in a way that I wasn't quite grasping while reading it. I recommend this play if you want something hilarious and gripping. :) (Especially if you get the audiobook!)"

" Love Love Love this play. I have great memories of performing this back when I was in Year 12 (I played Leonato by the way). We had fairy-lights and lanterns and a soundtrack of Motown songs like 'Heard it through the Grapevine'. It's such a nostalgic and hilarious play, it really is, for me, one of Shakespeare's best! "

About William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare (1564–1616), English poet and dramatist of the Elizabethan and early Jacobean period, is the most widely known author in all of English literature and often considered the greatest. He was an active member of a theater company for at least twenty years, during which time he wrote many great plays. Plays were not prized as literature at the time and Shakespeare was not widely read until the middle of the eighteenth century, when a great upsurge of interest in his works began that continues today.
