Publisher Description

It's Peretti's ultimate monster story. And this time, the monster is real. Miles away from the hectic city, Reed and Rebecca hike into the beautiful Northwestern woods. They're surrounded by gorgeous mountains, waterfalls, and hundreds of acres of unspoiled wilderness. But something - or someone - begins closing in on them. Something no human has ever seen. And it's killing everyone in its path without remorse.

"This book is such a theory. There is suspense around every corner. It became a very addicting read especially at first but in the middle it started to drag on. It was just taking too long to get to a point and you just kept wondering and wondering. If I was a faster reader it might not have been as bad. Highly recommend though. Loved it!"

" Not his best book by any means. I thought it was a little long and drawn out, but still a good read. It has a very unique story-line that keeps you guessing. "

" This book makes me never want to go camping. I didn't know it was written by a Christian author until after I bought it. The whole creationist theory and debunking of evolution I wasn't really into, but he didn't go too much into it. Overall, it was a good fast paced thriller. I was totally freaked out by the "monster." "

" Decent thriller. The whole evolution is a hoax bit didn't really add anything and the lack of explanation of the school dynamics made if feel as though something was missing. Simple and fast read. "
