Jeremy Essig is the former bass player and guitarist for late-90's (way) underground bands Box of Rocks and The Flaming Moes. To many, however, Jeremy is best known as a stand-up comedian and writer. His comedy, described in NUVO magazine as Intelligent Cynicism, walks the line between smart comedy and mindless indulgence. In a matter of minutes, Essig can move seamlessly between current events and kitchen appliances, weaving the two together with a nod to his love of pop culture.
