Clay Bennett is a powerful DarkRiver sentinel, but he grew up in the slums with his human mother, never knowing his changeling father. As a young boy without the bonds of Pack, he tried to stifle his animal nature. He failed... and committed the most extreme act of violence, killing a man and losing his best friend, Talin, in the bloody aftermath. Everything good in him died the day he was told that she, too, was dead.

Talin McKade barely survived a childhood drenched in bloodshed and terror. Now a new nightmare is stalking her life - the street children she works to protect are disappearing and turning up dead. Determined to keep them safe, she unlocks the darkest secret in her heart and returns to ask the help of the strongest man she knows....

Clay lost Talin once. He will not let her go again, his hunger to possess her, a clawing need born of the leopard within. As they race to save the innocent, Clay and Talin must face the violent truths of their past... or lose everything that ever mattered.

" This has been the best book in the series and honestly, that isn't saying much. I don't get all the hype over this series. Its just an "ok" series. There isn't a "hero" - each book focuses on different characters, there isn't much drama, no suspense, nothing to make you just HAVE to keep reading etc. Its just an average series that is mildly interesting to see how the minds work or how other "species" cross mate with each other. I honestly could put this series down and never think twice about picking it back up. I guess I keep reading HOPING that it will pick up. "

" Well I'm really getting hooked on this series. I'm enjoying the world, the building war, the dynamic of all the different races. I'm very curious as to how this whole thing will play out and what kind of balance they will be able to find for the Psy. This was another good romance with the expected happy ending. I loved Clay and his dark broodiness it was nice to get a back story to how he ended up as he was. I started off loving the whole set up and ready to be understandable to whatever conflict these two had in the past. In the beginning I still was regardless of the bad decisions. But I'll be honest as the book went on I just found myself unimpressed with Talin. In the end my overall conclusion was she was self centered and needy while she did everything in her power to push Clay away. There were a couple of times I actually wished Clay would send her on her way. She came around in the end, but for me it was just to little to late. I don't know how Clay put up with it. "

" Being generous, I give it 3 stars. The heroine made the book all kinds of painful, but extracting her from it, it was a nice book. All the other characters were great as usual. "

" It took me a while to get into this book, and while I did finally finish it, I would have to say it's my least favorite of the series so far. "

" Of course Ms. Singh writes another amazing book in the Psy/Changling series. It's not like I'm really surprised because she is an increadible writer and has created this great world filled with hot, sexy men, fierce women, and beyond creative storylines. Talin and Clay's history pull you in from the beginning. You feel the bond that was always there and the pain, the possessiveness, and the emotional pull of them finding each other all over again. I really like the fact that this book also set you up for Dorian's story, because I have really been looking forward to his. "

" A lot of people reviewed the heroine as too whiny, but after reading I didn't see it. Although she was pretty damaged she really tried hard to overcome her issues to love the hero. "

" Another excellent book in this series. I liked that Singh went outside the Psy/Changeling format to include the humans. Hopefully she will again. "

" I'm continuing my Nalini Singh Psy-Changeling marathon. Mine to Posses was all that and more. Singh continues to make this world both interesting and intriguing. I have no idea where she'll go with this, but each book has me wanting to know more about the world she has created. "

" The series is finally starting to grow on me. It only took until book 4. I really liked Clay and Tally. I know some of the reviews did not like Tally because they felt she whining about her childhood and was weak. I didn't think she was weak if she overcame all that had happened to her. "
