Esta obra nos lleva a traves de la historia de las fotografias que el fotografo Castellon toma durante los tiempos de la guerra en Europa y los tiempos de paz en Nicaragua, pasa de un episodio a otro desde la naciente Nicaragua, un ghetto en Varsovia, o a un monasterio en Mallorca y muchos mas. Asi como tambien mencionando a un sin numero de personajes de la historia universal con los que tiene algun contacto el fotografo Castellon, como el mercenario Walter, Napoleon el pequeno, Turgueniev, Flaubert y George Sand, la misma reina Victoria y personajes tales como Wenceslao Vivorny y el archiduque Luis Salvador. Ademas hay pasajes de la historia donde vemos caer y surgir ideales, suenos y grandes negocios. No podemos dejar de mencionar la aparicion de Chopin y Ruben Dario en la misma historia.

About Sergio Ramírez
Sergio Ramírez Mercado is a Nicaraguan writer and intellectual who served in the leftist Government Junta of National Reconstruction and as Vice President of the country 1985-1990 under the presidency of Daniel Ortega.
Born in Masatepe in 1942, he published his first book, Cuentos, in 1963. He received his law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua of León in 1964, where he obtained the Gold Medal for being the best student.

Francisco Rivela is an actor, director, and announcer. His stage credits include many productions at the Spanish Repertory Theatre and other Hispanic theatres. Television appearances include The Cosby Show and several daytime dramas. Mr. Rivela presents his own dramatic projects in SOHO, and he has recorded many books for the American Foundation for the Blind and Recorded Books.
