This series however is about Dhampir Dorina, her dear old dad has asked her to help find her Uncle, Dracula. Now it might seem cheesy to use such a character but I think it really worked. Dorina is a much different character from Cassandra, where Cass is more naive, Dorina has all the knowledge and vast experience. What she doesn't know she has the skill set to find those answers. The story was well told and captivating. I think I will be continuing with this series. "

" I liked the fast pace of this book, the intense acton made devouring it all the more easier. Thankfully the book was only written in the first person, or trying to catchup would have been a problem. The story flowed quickly and clean. I liked that the heroine showed as much heart as doubt. It made her more relatable, more believable. This has really got me ready for the next book in this series. "
