" It's a cute, fun read. I really like Dick King-Smith's books. I gave it to my mom for her school library. "

" I enjoy King-Smith's fun animal stories. Fond memories of discovering him with Harry's Mad and Babe the Gallant Pig--I love farmer Hogget. Martin's story is a cute tail :) of a cat who wants to keep a mouse for a pet. "

" Re-read it to my son, and he loved it as much as I always did (as did our cat, who always comes in for story time too!) "

" Love Dick King-Smith but I was not happy with this book...the characters were under developed and the story moved at a pace that was too fast. "

" This would be a great book for reading aloud to kids--there's a lot of witty bits to keep adults chuckling to themselves. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Ashley Howard | 7/13/2013

" I read this when I was a kid. It's about a kitten that's called wimpy by it's siblings, because he won't hunt and eat mice. Instead, he actually cares for and protects them. "

" This book was good and it would make a perfect story for kids grades 1-5. It's a touching yet slightly silly story of a kitten who keeps mice as pets. It's an easy book to read and not to long. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Amanda Fack | 3/20/2012
