Publisher Description

Kate Svenson is attractive, successful, a brilliant businesswoman—and miserable. After three failed engagements, she realizes it’s time for a PLAN…an organized, detailed agenda with a clear goal: finding Mr. Right.

The Cabins resort is ripe with eligible bachelors, all rich, distinguished and ambitious—just her type. And they’re dropping like flies around her…at least, that’s how Jake Templeton views the situation. After he’s stuck pulling her latest reject out of the swimming pool, Jake’s convinced this femme fatale is trouble. Especially for him.

But can a man who’s sworn off ambition for good and a woman hanging from the top of the corporate ladder find common ground in the unpredictable territory called the heart, where the word proposal takes on a very different meaning…?

"Another great read from the magnificent author Jennifer Crusie! I love the way she writes. You get to see the story from two sides. Usually the Male main Character and the Female Main character! I like knowing how each feels about certain sitations! I can't wait to read another book by her! "

" Her first book. Jennifer Crusie has great characters that always have fun adventures. This one, while it does not have quite the crazy adventures of her later novels, is a fun read and still has great characters. "

" Jennifer Crusie is one author that I choose when I want something romancey but not overwhelmingly so. One downside to her novels is that there is usually some weird murder/death that happens and kind of changes the direction of the book. "

" Pretty standard fare. Light and fluffy like most of Crusie's work. Not as humorous as her characters usually are. A little less believable as well. A solid three stars. I liked it. I've read worse. But then again, I've read better too. "

" This book reminded me of the "First Love by Silhouette" series that I read in the 80s, except the characters were in their 30s, not teens. It was predictable, but still a good read. It ended stronger than it began, which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. "
