"This is a VERY good story. Translated well for the Mexican author. A family epic during the most turbulent of times for Mexico. Early 20th century. Heroine maintains strength of character while "husband" is addicted to fighting the myriad wars away from home. Strong family upbringing & intelligent characters light her way."
