Publisher Description

When the Magic Tree House whisks Jack and Annie off to Hawaii, it's for more than a vacation: They're in search of a fourth kind of magic for Morgan! On the way, they help an island community survive a tidal wave and, of course, take some time out to surf! Ultimately, they discover that the magic that they have found in this set of four books are everyday magics: the magic of the arts, the magic of the natural world, the magic of community - and the magic of fun.

"My son just devours these books. This one we read together over two days. He gripped my arm the whole time waiting for the next chapter and the next chapter, he was so excited! It was so great to see :) My daughter also really enjoyed listening to this story. It was a good read-out-loud book and it made me really wish it was summer!"

" It was a cute story but not as good as number 13, Vacation Under the Volcano. Still I'd recommend the series. "

" This is the first Magic Tree House book in the series that I have read for Logos Library. Written for beginning readers - 2nd-3rd grade. It's not Shakespeare, but a fun little read and enables children to pick up some interesting facts along the way - in this case about volcanoes, surfing, the Hawaiian people and their customs, etc. Looking forward to reading a few more. " Another wonderful adventure has come to an end. Twenty-eight books done and I feel like it's just one big book rather than a bunch of smaller ones. Even though these are aimed towards the younger readers, I am quite enjoying these as an adult. Give these a try if they sound interesting to you! "
