"This Magic Tree House book is set in San Francisco during the big earthquake in 1904 (?). My son loves these books - they all follow the same basic formula and are pretty predictable but good for young readers! We'll move on to #25 as soon as it comes in at the library!"

" Another informative Magic Treehouse book! I enjoyed how this book included the different events that were occurring after the earthquake in Sanfrancisco, including the banker moving all his money and the librarian trying to save his book. I also liked how this book takes place after the earthquake, not a race against time story like Vacation Under the Volcano and basically every other Magic Treehouse book. "

" I used to love this series. I still like it, but, I think it is a little young for me now. I would recommend this book to children ages 7-9. Of course, if you are not in this age group, it really doesn't matter. So yeah...read it please. :) Bye. "
