Things start taking a turn for the worse when she's forced off the road and almost dies but is "saved" at the last minute by a mysterious stranger who vanishes. Then a friend whose is her former teeanage boyfriend is found dead and she and her husband are put on trial for his murder. Who's making all this happen. No spoiler alert but I figured it out about just before the end which is an amazing feat for me. "

" Interesting twists and turns, however, the murderer comes out of the blue, due to minimal references, so you can't really consider him/her until the very end. "

" Fast paced, although until the murder trial begins, it reads more like a "subway trash" novel than a well written thriller. "

" This is one of Grippando's best. I have been of fan of is since his first book, and he keeps getting better. This was an enjoyable, thrilling read. "
