In one reckless night, Camille Jameson’s life was changed forever: a tall, handsome stranger, an evening of romance—and enough regrets to last a lifetime. Two years later, Camille is a successful interior decorator with the opportunity to restore one of Mississippi’s proudest plantations. She arrives excited and eager to face her greatest professional challenge to date—until Zack Prescott saunters through the mansion’s front door and back into her life. He is exactly as she remembers, except for the knowing look in his eyes that reminds her of what they once shared. Now, forced to live in unbearably close quarters, Camille and Zack will discover if they have the courage to face the past—and, perhaps, build a future together… Download and start listening now!

" This is an older book and smaller than her more recent ones. It's also as can be expected dated, but a great read as all of Sandra Brown stories are. "

" this love story of camille and zack makes me cry and hurt at the same time, its all about misunderstanding, and how to loved by the stranger. i really like the character of zack, how i wish zack is real because nowadays its so hard to find a man who loved you the first time he lead his eyes to you.. until he find you again!!! hay.... "

" I didn't particularly care for this book and probably wouldn't have finished it if it weren't on audio. This is one of Sandra Brown's earlier books and I like her more recent ones far better. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Leona | 1/23/2014

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Laura | 1/5/2014

" Couple meet at a ski resort have a hot weekend then heroine runs away. Fast forward to 2 years later and heroine is hired by the hero's Dad to restore a plantation home. Not a very deep story or very believable. I did like the description of the property and the restoration process. "

" Can't comment without giving away the ending. Needless to say this is a love story -- Brown does a good job keeping you on your toes throughout the entire book. I couldn't put it down, just had to stay up and finish it. Glad I did. It didn't quite end the way I had suspected and another good read. "

" Dieses Buch hat mir gut gefallen, auch wenn es recht dünn ist.
Man merkt der Story auch schnell an, dass sie in den 80ern geschrieben wurde, vior allem an den über-dominanten Männern. Trotzdem hat mir die Geschichte gut gefallen! "
