"oh dear!!! i Just can't get enough of the Hathaways!!!! I wish that it could go on and on and it would complete my life :) lol. Even though this is the last of the Hathaways, i still have to read Leo's story. and THEN I will probably end up bawling because it will be the end :( that aside, I love the relationship between Bea and Christopher. Even thoght he wanted Bea to stay away from him because of his problems, she never gave up on him. She fought for him because that is what true love is :)"

" I loved, loved, loved Beatrix so much. I loved this finale to the Hathaways, and this is probably my favorite of the series. I was torn between four and five stars on this one because it's a splendid conflict and love story, but it does lose a little momentum around the 3/4 mark. I would have liked to have seen the conflict heightened a little longer. I also wanted more of their letters. I would have read several chapters of letters--I loved the "voices" of the letters so much. "

" I love the Hathaways. I wish there were enough Hathaways to keep Kleypas writing about them from now until doomsday! Beatrice is one of my favorites heroines too, she is so warmhearted and unconventional. "

" Love in the Afternoon is the fifth book in the Hathaways series. Beatrix is the youngest of the Hathaways and least likely to marry. Beatrix is an awesome character. I like her personality and free out-look on life. Beatrix ends up falling for Captain Christopher Phelan, who is smitten and eventually thinks he is in love with her friend Prudence. Beatrix pretends to be Prudence and writes to Christopher. The book was good and I liked the ending. "

" I'd give this one 3 1/2 stars if I could. A much smoother read than the last book, possibly because Beatrix is easier to like immediately than her brother was. The crux of the plot is entirely ridiculous, and resolved far too soon - the last 50-75 pages have little to no conflict, and when conflict is introduced at the end, it's out of nowhere and resolved in approximately 3 pages. But, this isn't the kind of book you read for the complex plot; it's more a fluffy romantic comedy than anything. The Hathaway family continues to be highly entertaining, and Beatrix and Christopher turn out to be a nicely matched couple. All in all, I enjoyed it! "

" Loved how they were together by about the middle of the book, and the rest of the time was them figuring out their relationship. I really like it when they work on what needs to be worked on post-sex/wedding. "
