"I thoroughly enjoyed this! She writes animals well -- along the lines of _The Art of Racing in the Rain_ and _The Story of Edgar Sawtelle_ -- two of my favorites. A lot of insight into the fears of parents of out of control or autistic children too. Good characterization."

" Overall an entertaining and fun read. May put off some readers because of autistic children who become violent theme. Needed more editing. The names of characters are off-putting, but liked the dog's point-of-view sections. This is when the book is at its best. "
