" Book was okay, interesting thought that your body is reactive to certain foods, including fruit veggies, meats, that kind of thing, and that everyone's body has a different reactivity to these foods. Recipes are good. Overall, worth taking a look at. "

" Very no nonsense approach. It is a weight loss targeted book but it offers a solid foundational cleanse to reduce inflammation and restart a sluggish thyroid. I actually first heard of the book trough a colleague who personally knows the author and has been following her plan with some success. I don't think this plan will work in every single case as I do believe that letting people indulge will lead to other undesirable choices but if you can follow through with the suggestions you will feel better and lose weight. It is not a medical book but it does touch on many popular aspects of wellness. Many of the recipes are easy to make and delicious. "

" I'll admit this sounds like a bunch of hippie, hippie nonsense when I explain it out loud. However, more and more health care professionals are saying low level inflammation is to blame for many of our health issues. What caught my eye was "If you eat well and exercise but can't lose weight." That's me. Now this may not be for everyone like the woman who ranted about how horribly awful the food is in all caps. If you subsist on fast food, yes it'll w a shock to your system. Does it seem kind of bland? Some of it, until you get past the first three days and start to realize your tastes change and you've probably been eating too much salt. Those first three days, suck it up and take it like a woman. Quit your pansy whining about how the carrot soup isn't salt-laden. I'm on day 11 and for the first time in my adult life I feel like I'm making progress without killing myself at the gym. I don't feel guilty for eating bread or rice or cookies. I know why my weight fluctuates. I've even tried to mess with it on purpose to see what happens. It's a good feeling. This probably isn't for everyone though so if it doesn't work for you, that sucks. I would recommend giving it a shot though. "

" OK...but mostly recipes. Why oh why do they spend so many pages trying to convince you and so few pages explaining the actual idea or method. I'd recommend this book only to some one who doens't know much about how to avoid the big fancy, spend a lot of $$$ on TV advertisement diets. "

" If been told I have symptoms. Of inflammation but never knew what to do about it. I am excited to use her 20 day plan to figure out my unique body chemistry. Just I'll update my review when done with results! "

" I think her ideas are right on track in regards to our health and food intake - it pretty much is about eating healthy when it comes down to it. "

" Amazing book on how to work WITH your body to lose weight!! "

" Really like this book and am working on using it. That said, it requires a lot of planning, prep, and cooking. I work from home, so I can do this; if my office were a regular one in the outside world it would be considerably more difficult. "

" Finally a book that is not one size fits all for nutrition. Go to the website for additional downloads and a quick and easy way if making food for the first three days which will be used throughout the 21day program. Freeze the extras in individual portions to limit the time in the kitchen. Awesome! "

" Not well written (needs some organizational rewrites), but definitely on board with the concept. Find it very systems work with inflammation and so many things tie in together. I'm finishing my 5th day and seeing results physically, mentally and emotionally already. "

" The book provides valuable information about how to live and treat yourself better. The recipes are good and I lost weight using her method. The book was well written and easy to read. "
