" This book is perfect for readers from 1-5 and they will love it. My favorit part of this book is when the billy goat through the troll off the bridge. And it is a great book to go to sleep with "

" "The Three Billy Goats Gruff", by Paul Galdone is one of my favorite children's books when I was younger. It tells the story of three brothers, and the troll bridge. The two Billy Goat Gruff's outsmart the troll allowing them to cross the bridge, the last and biggest Gruff challenges the troll by bucking him off and is able to get past the mean and ugly troll. At the end the goats reach the meadow and eat until they are fat and can hardly move. It is a great children's book and one I have enjoyed for years. I highly recommend the story of "The Billy Goat Gruff". "

" I'm just starting to really like Paul Galdone's versions of fairy tales. The colors of the troll are awesome to me in these images. We got the boxed set of classics that were just released in September and this hardcover format is great and I really think will have a long school shelf life. The Three Billy Goats Gruff is a story I remember enjoying in childhood and I think my daughter already enjoys it as well. "

" I always hear people say that they act out this book with their classes and I can see why. The simple story lends itself well to class renditions. This would be a great book for reader's theatre. "

" An okay story - not much to it. The troll was a little scary, but I equated him to the "grumpy old troll" from Dora, so the girls weren't scared. "

" i really enoy reading this story. i admire how the three brothers had a desire and went to any extent to achieve it. though i found the end to be a little violent, i do believe that sometimes its does take a little strength to get what you want, and this folktale sure teaches that. "
