The Collected Blandings Short Stories.
Blandings Castle is the home of Lord Emsworth, who likes nothing better than to potter at home in his enormous castle garden. But his rural idyll is once again set to be disturbed in these nine hilarious fables. No peace is possible when his sister Constance is let loose, and she is constantly trying to reorganise the household and its inhabitants! Without great success....
The nieces are unhappy, McAllister leaves at a difficult time, and then The Empress of Blandings - Emsworth's prize pig - goes off her pig-food! Put all this against the continuing complicated love affairs of Freddie Threepwood, not to mention Lord Emsworth's own love interests, and the stage is once more set for classic Wodehouse hilarity!

"Classic Wodehouse, always a pleasure. I especially love the story in which everybody, including Lady Constance, takes a pop at everybody else with an airgun. A comfort read to make the world seem brighter and more friendly." — Gemma (4 out of 5 stars)

" It's P.G. Wodehouse, what do you think I'm going to say? I picked this up at a library sale and it's exposing me to some of his work I hadn't read before. "
" Less well known than Wodehouse's Jeeves & Wooster stories, but just as funny! "
" Fantastic as always, with a particularly good introduction - more of a tribute to Wodehouse's entire literary career. "
Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881–1975) was an English humorist who wrote novels, short stories, plays, poems, song lyrics, and numerous pieces of journalism. He was highly popular throughout a career that lasted more than seventy years, and his many writings continue to be widely read. He is best known for his novels and short stories of Bertie Wooster and his manservant Jeeves and for his settings of English upper-class society of the pre– and post–World War I era. He lived in several countries before settling in the United States after World War II. During the 1920s, he collaborated with Broadway legends like Cole Porter and George Gershwin on musicals and, in the 1930s, expanded his repertoire by writing for motion pictures. He was honored with a knighthood in 1975.
Martin Jarvis, OBE, has recorded more than 150 Just William stories for the BBC. These have become international audio bestsellers. Screen successes include everything from Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, and Numb3rs to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the Oscar-winning Titanic.
