" A very intriguing concept. I do feel that I gained more watching the PBS special, but it was nice to be able to read and refresh my memory on the research. "

" Giving it a try. Interesting concept. "

" This is an interesting concept. I heard Dr. Mosley on an NPR show, and the concept of intermittent fasting actually made logical sense to me, before I even read word one of the book. Our bodies have evolved to deal with periods of both feast and famine, and the traditional weight loss method of eating several small meals a day would presumably always have us in feasting mode. Two days of moderate fasting described in this book wouldn't kill me, it has a spiritual aspect that appeals to me, and it's worth trying occasionally. Will it lead to weight loss? Who knows? Will it lead to all the health benefits outlined in the book? Again, who knows? But it's an interesting theory, nonetheless. "

" Saw the BBC documentary and had to purchase the book. Worth the cost to see more of the research to back up the benefits of intermittent fasting. Easiest "Diet" i've ever tried. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Tom | 10/24/2013

" The book is great, but the diet itself is fantastic! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kat | 10/4/2013

" Interesting information about a new way to eat to not only lose weight, but to increase longevity and health, particularly reducing cancer. As the authors freely admit, a lot of the research is still coming in. May be a workable way of life for some; not sure if I would try it or not. "

" Loved this book along with the video that got me started. Did my first fast yesterday and it went great. This is so doable, I hope to continue. It's not a diet it's a lifestyle change. Check it out! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 charlie | 6/10/2012

" Very interesting. Hard to do and not everyone can afford the tests to know if it's working on the inside... Which of you dont have a huge amount of weight to lose and aren't seeing external changes makes it hard to really realise the benefits. "
