" This is an interesting concept. I heard Dr. Mosley on an NPR show, and the concept of intermittent fasting actually made logical sense to me, before I even read word one of the book. Our bodies have evolved to deal with periods of both feast and famine, and the traditional weight loss method of eating several small meals a day would presumably always have us in feasting mode. Two days of moderate fasting described in this book wouldn't kill me, it has a spiritual aspect that appeals to me, and it's worth trying occasionally. Will it lead to weight loss? Who knows? Will it lead to all the health benefits outlined in the book? Again, who knows? But it's an interesting theory, nonetheless. "
