Harlan Coben has risen to the top of bestseller lists worldwide, attracting voracious audiences for his peerless novels of domestic suspense as well as those featuring his fan-favorite sports agent, Myron Bolitar. Now in Live Wire, he offers a knock-your-socks-off novel that will electrify all his fans: Myron's family takes center stage.

Myron Bolitar has always dreamed about the voluptuous femme fatale walking into his office and asking for help. The woman standing in his doorway has killer curves all right: She's eight months pregnant, which kind of ruins the fantasy. Former tennis star Suzze T and her rock star husband, Lex, are both clients, and over the years Myron has negotiated his share of contracts for the power pair. But now Lex has disappeared and a very pregnant Suzze is in tears, fearing the online rumors questioning the baby's paternity have driven away the man she swears is the child's father. For Myron, questions of fatherhood couldn't hit closer to home, as his dad, Al, clings to life; the brother who abandoned them all years ago is in trouble; and Myron's teenage nephew needs an authority figure. Myron is soon forced to confront deep secrets in Suzze's past, his family's mortality - and before Live Wire is over, his own.

" This is the first Myron Bolitar book that I've read but it won't be the last. What I loved is that I could pick up the book right here and not be bogged down in the past even though this book was all about the past. When Myron starts looking into a bogus post on Facebook for one of his client he starts unraveling a spool of secrets going back nearly 20 years. It was voiced brilliantly and the only thing stopping me from making a library run to pick the earlier books is that I already have a library stack. Myron and Win have a fascinating relationship as he has with Esperanza and Big Cindy. It evokes a lot of strong feelings to watch this kind of friendship and it made me happy despite being sad. "

" I really enjoyed this book and want to read more of the Myron Bolitar series. He's a tough guy but one with heart and a touch of humor. "

" I enjoyed this book much better than the previous two books in the series. Even though serious events happen, it felt like the earlier books. It does seems that Harlan is kind of wrapping up the story line, it felt like he could stop this series without anymore notice. I hope that is not the case. I know he started another storyline with Myron's nephew as a YA book. I may read those in the future. I do hope Harlan continues with Myron Bolitar though, and try to lighten it up some more. I know Harlan has the character growing older and dealing with life, but I do enjoy the more light-hearted version of Myron better. He and Win make a great team. "
