" I loved this book, but it did remind me that pain filled family relationships often have an unseen time limit. I wasn't sure what to expect with it and the style Is a bit odd. It's almost as if Dreher is still looking for answers as he's writing. Maybe he is. Definitely worth the read. "

" I had very high expectations of this book, after reading many wonderful reviews. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I thought I would. Maybe I shouldn't have read the reviews first. I kept thinking there would be more revealed about Mr. Dreher's relationship with his sister near the end....deeper analysis, some more missing pieces that would be put in place. It did make me want to visit Louisiana though! A very nice tribute to his sister. It just left be wanting to know more, and feeling slightly unsatisfied with how it ended. "
