"Growing up I had a few different versions of this story, but none of them varied too much. I chose to re-read this one because of the simple 2d pictures that are attractive to my 5 year old niece. I remember this story being longer than it is, and I remember my young mind thinking why the wolf didn't just eat her in the forest."

" This children's classic entertains many young readers. The author sets up the book in a house by the woods, where a young girl, Little Red Riding Hood, and her mother lives. The young girls grandmother lives on the other side of the woods. The mother hears that the grandmother is not feeling to well, so the mother sends the little girl of into the woods by her self, where WOLVES and many other forest creatures lived. I rated this book with two stars, because it did not attract me. Somehow it seemed like every other fairytale or book. "

" This was a very elementary (1st to 2nd grade) story of Little Red Riding Hood. The pictures were childish and the story was very happy and had an alternative ending in comparison to most Little Red Riding Hood books. For younger children, this is a great introduction into the world of fairy-tales! "

" This book has a twist to it from the normal fairy tale. I think that this book si more child friendly than the other ones. The wolf in this story does not look as scary as some of the other wolves. "

" We did a unit about Fairy Tales. Where we read traditional Fairy Tales and then we found a supporting book that was the same story but with a twist! This was perfect for contrasting Little Red Riding Hood. We then did a Double Bubble (thinking map) to compare and contrast the story! "
