Twenty-year-old Hazel Moran’s idea of a tranquil moonlight sail never included dumping a body in the Atlantic miles off the Jersey Shore. Yet there she is, side-by-side with her father, Ian, on their century-old schooner, disposing of the stranger who attacked her just hours before. The man came looking for her cousin Micah and found Hazel instead, a third-generation trucker who is a lot tougher than she looks — even downright lethal. Trouble is, Hazel and Ian don’t know where Micah is. They only know he up and vanished right around the same time as Ian’s new Freightliner. But Micah’s no thief, Hazel’s sure of it. And so she hits the road to find him, out for vengeance, hungry for the truth, and determined to take down anyone who gets in her way. Download and start listening now!

" I really enjoyed this novel and look forward to more from C. E. Grundler. Sometimes the jump from one scene to another was a bit disconcerting but otherwise a great tale. "

" This is one Awful book, I could not even get past the first quarter of the book. It was boring, lifeless and full of New Jersey cliches on top of being totally pointless. And to think I had such high hopes for this one. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 by Nina | 1/19/2014

" I opened the book thinking that this would be a quick read, until I saw that it was over 1100 pages. I read on and by the time I had read 10 pages I knew that this would be a really good book. There was a missing person, a body being dumped at sea..... and there is something going on on every page. "
