" This is my absolute favorite of all Dan Brown's novels. It is a suspenseful, thrill a minute ride from beginning to end. I love his use of the dark mysteries (pun intended) of science and government. "

" Though now the pattern of Dan Brown's story has become predictable, it is a good read. "

" Digital Fortress is so interesting to read especially if you are one of those people who love computers and travelling. It gives you a good insight into the workings of one of the largest and most secretive security agencies in the world. Ensei Tankando for me is the best character of all the characters in the book. I couldn't, non-fictionally, get it that one man (Tankando) could cripple the entire mainframe operations of a such complicated facility as National Security Agency. It is very much written as a travelogue (as well as a novel)and it really deprived me of my sleep. Dan Brown is one of my favourite authors ... I'll read it again! "

" This book was ok. It did hold my attention, but it was fairly absurd in many parts. "

" Yet another great book from Dan Brown. I felt like I was actually there. I love the way Dan Brown writes...so descriptive. And it's funny how his books are based on a two day event. Lots of stuff going on in two days lol. "

" Nice thriller with a compelling modern-day-headlines premise about cryptanalysis and the current privacy issues that arise out of the potential of a government to read of everyone's email. A bit unnecessarily heavy-handed with profanity, but an exciting read. "

" I found the plot to be far-fetched but obvious. The underlying concept for the golden grail of encryption is utter nonsense - Dan Brown clearly knows next to nothing about the subject. This is one of the worst books I have ever read and I only bothered to finish it because it was a present. "

" Having read his first 3 books, I was reluctant about this one as it seemed to be completely different from the others. It was, and i loved it. It's more of a techno-thriller---and is a current take on just what computers can do, and how the government may be using them. "

" Great novel as usual from Dan Brown, but comparing it with his trilogy (Robert Langdon's adventures), it doesn't have the same quality..I liked the trilogy more. Still this book is worth reading..highly recommended for reading.. "

" For a generally good book, I think it had a whole lot more potential than was brought forth. Dan Brown is a great story teller, but he needs to expand his horizons a little more. Just feels like a cookie-cutter author (though I love the shape he uses for his books). "
