"Best so far on " How mind works ". I have read many, before and after this on human mind but this stands apart...and tallest, among all of them. A must read ( though not easy to read without supervision. )."

" L. Ron Hubbard studied many different religions and philosophies. There is some interesting information in this book, but there is also some falsehoods. It's an interesting read, but I definitely wouldn't fall prey to the Scientologists. Take it for what it is worth. "

" Read it out of curiosity. First part had some decent psychological ideas, then it got nutty in a hurry. Gives a nice glimpse into the mindset behind Scientology, but not much else. "

" I learned that emotions and painful experiences can get trapped in the cells and only when we release the pain, can we truly be free. Unfortunately it led to expensive therapy instead of a method in the book "

" This book says the individual can do plenty, which seems to be in slight contrast to Scientology. The book is mainly common sense. Nothing to get up in arms about. Nothing to hype up. Not bad. Not great. Of course I read this book over 25 years ago and might cringe at my review if i read it again. "

About L. Ron Hubbard

L. Ron Hubbard (1911–1986), with nineteen New York Times bestsellers and more than 230 million copies of his works in circulation, was among the most acclaimed and widely read authors of the twentieth century. As a leading light of American pulp fiction through the 1930s and 1940s, he was further among the most influential authors of the modern age. Indeed, from Ray Bradbury to Stephen King, there is scarcely a master of imaginative tales who has not paid tribute to him.
